Custom Floating Double Vanity in a Modern Primary Bathroom
A primary bathroom should feel like a retreat, and that was exactly the goal for this home. The space has tall windows framing palm trees, a freestanding soaking tub and plenty of natural light, so the vanity needed to be just as impressive as everything around it. We designed and built a custom double vanity that brings warmth, function and a clean modern look to the whole room.
The vanity runs almost the full length of the wall and floats off the floor, which makes the bathroom feel bigger and lets the large format floor tile flow uninterrupted underneath. That open space at the bottom also makes cleaning the floor much easier, a small detail homeowners really appreciate in daily life.
We chose a rich walnut wood grain finish for the cabinet fronts. It adds warmth to a room filled with white surfaces and stone, and it pairs beautifully with the black fixtures. Instead of traditional handles, the drawers use a handleless design with recessed aluminum channels running across the full length. These silver lines give the vanity a sleek European feel and keep every drawer easy to open.
The countertop is a white stone with bold grey and gold veining that gives the vanity real presence. We carried it up the wall as a backsplash so the veining continues behind the sinks, creating a seamless look that is also practical around water. Two undermount sinks give each person their own space, with matte black faucets that match the framed mirrors, vanity lights and floor mounted tub filler.
Inside, the deep drawers offer plenty of room for towels, toiletries and hair tools, so the countertop stays clear and the room keeps that calm, spa like feel.
Every bathroom is different, and that is why we build our vanities to fit the space and the way you use it. Whether you need a long double vanity like this one or a compact design for a guest bath, visit our showroom or give us a call and let’s create something made just for you.
